Created as a spin-off of an international group focused on developing corporate IT solutions, Viridis brings together executives and technical staff members with years of experience in commissioning energy & utilities management solutions in different market verticals. The Viridis research and development team operates from the company's offices in Brazil. The team relies on researchers and engineers with PhDs, MSc, as well as vast experience in their respective fields. The Viridis operations team works globally to commission projects directly, or to assist our network of partners in their own implementation projects.

Thiago Turchetti Maia
Chief Executive Officer
Viridis founding partner with 20 years of experience in leading high-technology companies focused on international markets. Career includes innovation and technology projects in the United States, Europe, and Latin America. He holds a PhD and an MSc in Electrical Engineering from UFMG, a BSc in Computer Science, and an MBA in Finance. He has conducted research projects and academic collaboration in applications of artificial intelligence to industrial problems. He currently serves as chairman at Fumsoft – Minas Gerais Software Society, of which he is a former president.
Executive Vice President
Viridis founding partner with more than 20 years of experience in developing and commissioning technology systems for industrial clients. He has led projects in Latin America, Europe, and the United States for companies in different industrial sectors. He is a specialist in the design and deployment of technology solutions for shop-floor management. He holds a MSc and a BSc in Computer Science from UFMG.
Viridis’s Commercial Director. He has worked for 35 years at Vallourec in energy, maintenance, and industrial assembling. He managed the energy and utilities project at the Vallourec & Sumitomo (VSB) plant. He holds a BEng in Electrical Engineering and graduate degrees in Industrial Automation and Business Management. He is a member of CE-116, which developed the ABNT NBR ISO 50001 – Energy Management standard. He was responsible for making Vallourec the first steel company in Brazil to achieve this certification. He is a member of the Board of Renewable Energy and Oil & Gas at FIEMG.
David Lunardi Flam
Chief Software Architect
Viridis founding partner and chief architect of the company's software solutions. He has a wide range of experience in developing platforms and large-size systems for industrial environments. He has led technology projects in the United States and Latin America. He holds a MSc and a BSc in Computer Science from UFMG, along with an MBA in Information Technology.
Stefano Angioletti is an electrical engineer, holds a master's degree in production engineering, and is a specialist in investment analysis with more than 30 years of experience in the sectors of energy and capital-intensive industries. He has worked in mining companies including Anglo American, as well as global technology companies such as Schneider Electric, where he was Vice President. Today he is President and Executive Director of Grid Energy and a professor at Fundação Dom Cabral.
Pedro Drummond is an executive with more than 13 years of experience in technology companies and large corporations. Educated at UFMG, he has held leadership positions in companies such as Take and Unimed-BH. He holds an MBA from Stanford University in Silicon Valley. Today he is responsible for investing and developing innovative businesses at INSEED Investments, one of the largest managers of venture capital/entrepreneurial capital in Brazil, and professor of management and innovation at Fundação Dom Cabral.
