Viridis participates in the event "World Energy Efficiency Day" at Ternium

On March 5, World Energy Efficiency Day, Viridis was invited to participate in the World Energy Efficiency Day event organized by Ternium - one of the leading steel producers in Latin America - at their headquarters in the industrial district of Santa Cruz, in Rio de Janeiro.

Debates were presented on solutions for increasing the level of energy efficiency in industries, corporate sustainability, benefits obtained with the implementation of standards like ISO 50001, in addition to success cases of companies that have invested in energy management systems. In addition, the event facilitated the meeting of a number of professionals from companies and institutions of the sector, including the Brazil Steel Institute, the Brazilian National Confederation of Industry, The Brazilian National Energy Conservation Program, Vallourec, Gerdau, and Usiminas.

In addition to having a stand, Viridis also participated in the event with the talk "Energy Efficiency and Industry 4.0," where Thiago Turchetti Maia, CEO of Viridis, discussed how more efficient processes can promote energy efficiency, digital transformation in organizations, and how it is possible to improve planning, control costs, and increase energy efficiency with the implementation of an efficient system of energy and utilities management.
