Viridis was present at the latest meeting of the Energy Efficiency Work Group, on May 14th at ABRACE – Brazillian Association of Great Industrial Energy Consumers and Free Consumers. Thiago Turchetti, CEO of Viridis, presented the energy management solution, and all of its benefits and features. During the presentation, Thiago emphasized the significant result potential created by the use of new technologies in energy management.
“Most of the industrial operations have a gap in energy inputs and utilities management. There are measurement systems in the shop floor and in corporate management, but these two universes don`t communicate. One of Viridis's proposals is to fill this space with integrated models of energy and utilities management, creating significant potential to reduce consumption and mitigate risks.
ABRACE is a non-profit association that gathers large industrial groups, from energy-intensives to free consumers, which are responsible for 20 percent of all energy consumed in Brazil. ABRACE focuses its actions with on sustainable energy development for the country, always in synergy with the associates. Currently, large companies like ArcelorMittal, CSN, Bayer, Anglo American, Ambev, and more are part of the association.
