Distributed systems technology allows Viridis to be highly scalable. A single deployment with multiple servers can serve and integrate multiple plants in parallel. For example, a small installation in one plant can support up to 500 meters with real-time coverage. Medium-sized installations can support about 3,000 meters, and large installations up to 10,000 meters. The Viridis system architecture allows it to support installations even larger than this.

Currently, Viridis has more than 300 features distributed among 28 modules, each dedicated to a different discipline of energy management or control.

Viridis is currently available in English, Portuguese, Spanish, and French. In order to meet the requirements of multinational clients, Viridis also supports multiple time zones and currencies.

The organization of the Viridis architecture statement does not place restrictions on the deployment model. So based on the particular needs or restrictions of a given client, Viridis can be installed locally at client sites using the client’s own infrastructure, or in the cloud using infrastructure provided by Viridis. The data quality subsystem is responsible for evaluating data reported by meters as well as identifying and correcting problems, such as duplicates, null data, gaps, outliers, large abrupt variations, jittering, and negative data.
